Please note that Kodi does not support internal update from within the app. All you need to do is update Kodi to the latest available version. Thankfully, this issue is relatively easier to fix. Plenty of updated addons continue to work with the older versions, but the same could not be said for all of them. I would love to know if there's a fix for this! We need our shows back! Reply. Thus, I'm not getting any of the dependencies pulled in by Kodi in my dev setup, nor do I see missing dependencies in the Kodi 19 repos, unfortunately So I did that, re-zipped the files, put the new zip folder renamed xbmc.python-2.24.zip on a USB drive, then from within Kodi tried to install from zip file, pointing it to that zip file on the USB drive, but it fails to install.
